- **Initial Role**: Began as an 0311 (Rifleman), mastering the fundamentals of combat and developing strong tactical acumen. This role involved rigorous training in marksmanship, field tactics, and small unit operations.
- **Advancement**: Progressed to 0369 (Infantry Unit Leader), a transition marked by significant leadership responsibilities. As an 0369, Daniel was responsible for training, leading, and mentoring junior Marines. He developed strategic planning skills and took on roles that required quick decision-making under pressure.
- **Assignments**:
- 1st Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Teams (FAST) Company: Provided rapid-response security and counter-terrorism expertise.
- The Basic School (TBS): Contributed to the training and development of new Marine officers, instilling them with the core values and tactical skills required for leadership.

After retiring from the USMC, Daniel transitioned to the civilian workforce with ease. He served as a District Sales Coordinator with Aflac, where he led a team to success, showcasing his leadership and business acumen in the corporate sector. Following his tenure at Aflac, Daniel joined MCAS Cherry Point as a retail specialist within the firearms department, leveraging his extensive knowledge of firearms, customer service, and sales techniques to excel in this role.
**Current Role**:
Daniel is now a dedicated and integral member of the Wild Zebra team. He heads all National Firearms Act (NFA) information for the store and is a recognized subject matter expert within the firearms industry. His military background has instilled in him a strong work ethic, discipline, and a commitment to excellence. As a retail specialist, he continues to demonstrate his expertise in firearms, customer service, and team collaboration.
