WINCHESTER 1897 TRENCH GUN 12GA

The Winchester Model 1897 Trench Gun is one of the most iconic military shotguns ever produced, engineered by John Moses Browning and built around a rugged pump-action design that proved itself in some of the most demanding combat environments of the twentieth century. Its compact 20-inch barrel, military heat shield, and bayonet-capable front assembly created a formidable close-quarters platform trusted by American forces for decades. Constructed from durable steel and designed for harsh battlefield service, the Model 1897 earned a reputation for reliability, speed, and effectiveness that few military firearms can match.

Designed for rapid engagement at close range, the Model 1897 features its distinctive slam-fire capable action, allowing continuous firing by holding the trigger while cycling the pump. The short barrel enhances maneuverability, while the tubular magazine provides ample on-board capacity for its era. Today, the Trench Gun remains highly sought after by military collectors, historians, and enthusiasts who appreciate its unique operating characteristics and significant place in firearms history.
