WILD ZEBRA NOTES

• China Jin An (CJA) frequently sourced the SKS and M14 rifles they imported directly from Norinco state factories. This means a rifle stamped "CJA" on the receiver was actually manufactured by the same Chinese state-run infrastructure associated with Norinco.

• Original examples retaining matching serial numbers typically carry greater collector interest.

• Rifles that still include the original bayonet, cleaning rod, and cleaning kit are often more desirable to collectors.

• The SKS is known for excellent reliability and relatively simple maintenance compared to many military surplus firearms.

• Fixed-magazine configuration allows the rifle to remain close to its original military design and handling characteristics.

• Surplus Chinese SKS rifles have become increasingly collectible as import quantities have declined over the years.
